ISEAA Begins Posting Chapters from Volume 2A of the Ban Chiang Metals Monograph Series

ISEAA is pleased to be able to begin to share access to chapters in the Ban Chiang monograph suite on metallurgy. The University of Pennsylvania Press, which is publishing the Ban Chiang Metals Monograph series, has a 12 month embargo period for posting copies of work online. Essentially, authors must wait 12 months after their work is published before they may begin posting copies of it. Authors may post on personal websites, on noncommercial discipline-specific servers, and within noncommercial digital repositories of nonprofit institutions with which they are currently affiliated. This means we cannot post chapters on ResearchGate or Academia.edu as these are commercial websites, but we can post on ISEAA servers. Since Ban Chiang, Northeast Thailand, Volume 2A: Background to the Study of the Metal Remains was published in October 2018, we are beginning to post selected content in October 2019.

To introduce ISEAA followers to the Ban Chiang metals monograph suite, today’s post includes a PDF of some front matter in Volume 2A. Read the study’s Foreword by James Muhly and Preface by Joyce White here.
