On Wednesday September 7, 2016, the Ban Chiang Gang handed in the manuscript for the next Ban Chiang monograph to Museum Publications for the next step: peer review.
The volume entitled Ban Chiang, a Prehistoric Village Site in Northeast Thailand II: The Metal Remains in Regional Context has been in the works for a very long time. Elizabeth Hamilton is the lead archaeometallurgist, and other contributors include Joyce White, Vincent Pigott, Oliver Pryce, Samuel Nash, and William Vernon. Ardeth Anderson provided the imagery including drawings and maps.
